Dr. Paul
Senior Veterinarian
Dr. Paul is a highly respected veterinarian with nearly 40 years of clinical experience and a Bachelor of Veterinary Science from the University of Queensland. He specializes in the care of small animals and exotics and is highly skilled in performing a wide range of surgical procedures — from routine desexing to complex soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries. With his extensive knowledge and steady clinical judgment, Dr. Paul is able to accurately diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of health conditions, ensuring the best possible outcomes for both pets and their owners. Known for his compassionate approach and dedication to veterinary excellence, he continues to deliver expert care built on decades of trusted experience.
Dr. Yuki
Senior Veterinarian
Dr. Yuki is a dedicated veterinarian with many years’ experience in the industry, specializing in small animals. A proud graduate from the University of Queensland (UQ) with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Hons), Dr. Yuki is passionate about all aspects of veterinary care and surgeries, with a particular interest in dentistry. Her love for animals started when she was a child and grew into a lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian—something she decided on while still in primary school. Dr. Yuki is committed to providing top-quality care with a focus on surgical excellence and the well-being of her animal patients.
Dr. Elise
Senior Veterinarian
Dr. Elise is a highly experienced veterinarian with an extensive career in both Australia and the United Kingdom. A graduate of the University of Sydney with Honours in Veterinary Science, she has since pursued further qualifications in ophthalmology, animal behaviour medicine, and veterinary training and education. Elise has worked across a wide variety of clinical settings, from busy inner-city hospitals to specialised behaviour and ophthalmology practices, giving her a wealth of knowledge in small animal medicine and surgery.
Elise brings to the clinic not only her clinical expertise but also her warmth and approachable manner, ensuring pets and their families feel comfortable and supported.
Nurse Amelie

Nurse Amelie is a skilled veterinary nurse with a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. With a deep passion for working with animals, Amelie thrives in a clinical environment where she can provide the best care. Her skills are especially strong in surgery assistance, where she plays a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient procedures. Amelie’s compassion, expertise, and commitment make her an invaluable member of our team at Lutwyche Veterinary Surgery.
Nurse Emily

Emily is an experienced veterinary nurse with a Bachelor of Veterinary Technology and many years of hands-on practice in the field. With a natural eye for detail, she excels in delivering compassionate and skilled care, ensuring every pet feels calm and comfortable in any situation.
Her dedication to animal well-being, combined with her extensive clinical expertise, makes Emily a valued and trusted member of the team at Lutwyche Veterinary Surgery.
Outside of the clinic, Emily is also a talented Australian football player, bringing the same energy and commitment to the field as she does to her nursing.
Nurse Tiarne
Vet Nurse
Tiarne is a compassionate and detail-oriented veterinary nurse who recently completed her Certificate III in Animal Care and is about to begin her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. She has a strong interest in wildlife and exotic pet care, with hands-on experience from working in animal rehabilitation and welfare centres.
Tiarne’s calm nature and gentle handling make her a comforting presence for both pets and their owners. Outside of work, she enjoys cuddles with her 12-year-old Staffy and caring for her beloved pet snake. Her passion for animal welfare and growing clinical expertise make her a valued and enthusiastic member of the Lutwyche Veterinary Surgery team.
Nurse Lulu
Vet Nurse
Lulu works with us mostly on Saturdays as a veterinary nurse. She brings a wealth of animal care experience from working in pet stores, equestrian centres, and wildlife rescue organisations, and is also a qualified Emmett therapist for horses with extensive volunteer work in animal welfare.
Lulu is passionate about delivering gentle, professional care to every patient and supporting pet owners with empathy and clear communication.
Outside of work, she enjoys horse riding, volunteering in rescue groups, and expanding her knowledge of animal health and wellbeing. Lulu also teaches Auslan (Australian Sign Language), supporting the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community through education and interpreting.
Nurse Lil
Vet Nurse
Lil made the leap from the world of insurance to veterinary nursing, driven by her lifelong love for animals and her desire to make a real difference in their lives. At home, she dotes on her three cats, who are a constant source of inspiration and affection.
Bringing strong organisational skills and a fresh perspective from her previous career, Lil has quickly proven herself to be a dedicated and caring member of the Lutwyche Veterinary Surgery team. She’s passionate about learning every aspect of nursing and providing the best possible care for both pets and their owners.
With her friendly nature, big heart, and genuine love for animals, Lil is an invaluable part of the clinic family.
